Release the Hounds was one of the most distinctive and stylised shows I have worked on. The format mixed horror, comedy and game show energy, and the edit played a huge part in shaping the tension, rhythm and personality of each set piece. I edited two full episodes in Season 2 as well as multiple standalone sequences across the series. I also worked on the US version for Fox. We used to say the contestants thought they were on a game show, the producers thought they were making reality television and the editors thought they were making a horror movie. These clips give a good sense of the tone and pace of the work.
