In Your Dreams is a British comedy with a fantasy twist about Albert Ross, a frustrated London dentist whose life has never lived up to his childhood ambitions. After a strange accident he discovers that whatever he dreams starts to come true, forcing him to navigate the chaos that follows as his fantasies collide with his everyday reality, his difficult family and his unresolved past.

In Your Dreams was my first feature film. I originally joined the production to create the behind the scenes documentary, but my visual effects background quickly became useful during the shoot. I soon found myself working as a VFX supervisor, helping to solve practical and creative challenges on set. As the edit developed I gradually moved into the cutting room and eventually took on the full edit of the film. It was a great first experience editing a feature, giving me the chance to shape performances, refine the story and understand the rhythm of long form narrative work.
