We Face Forward is a fast, focused documentary about the rise of Ecobank. Made on a tight schedule with a small budget, we used creative reconstructions to tell the story. I edited the film in one month on AVID from Canon 5D footage. For the first week we worked from transcripts while the footage transcoded, building a paper cut with transcript pages on the walls to map the film into four parts for ad breaks. That approach saved time and once the footage arrived we had a full first cut ready for notes within a week.
